How To Rank High On Bing

It's mighty hard to find anything concrete on Bing's ranking algorithm but certain trends keep cropping up. With Microsoft set to take over Yahoo and Bing becoming Google's closest challenger it seems pertinent to cover some of the fundamentals for effective search engine optimisation in Bing.
Comscore/Hitwise reports that Bing and Yahoo together currently have around 25% share of the marketplace, however a more accurate figure would be 20% because a significant percentage of the search queries recorded in Yahoo and Bing are for internal properties (Yahoo Finance, for example) whilst on Google the majority of search queries lead users to external sites.

Travis Sago
This guy comes across as a bumbling idiot sometimes (by his own admission) but don't let that fool you. He is one of the smartest, most switched on marketers I've had the fortune of learning from. And he really "pushes the free line" like you wouldn't believe. Travis doesn't know this, but he was responsible for my first couple of thousand dollars in sales (with bum marketing).

A true genius marketer - I have studied Chris for the best part of 6 months. As genuine as they come and has a real rags to riches story to boot. I really recommend you sign up to his list if only to watch how he represents himself. He is one of the good guys out there and he's really going places.

Shane at Rich Quick Review is definitely a name to watch for the future - he's putting together some really great products and is especially hot on SEO. The great thing about this guy - honesty is more important than making a sale from you. Hopefully he's setting a trend for the rest of the IM world!
